The Art of Recovery
Expanding Your Journey Spring 2025 Session
A 3-month Interactive
Where neuroscience meets spiritual wisdom in eating recovery
🌟 The Journey Beyond Food
"Recovery isn't about perfecting your eating or reaching a certain weight although that can and often does happen. It's about reconnecting with your authentic self and reorganizing your life around your authentic center."
Transform your relationship with food by understanding the deep connection between your nervous system, authentic self, and eating patterns. This isn't just another program about what to eat—it's about discovering why you eat the way you do and finding lasting freedom.
Why This Program Works When Diets Don't
"The concept of reframing has been pivotal. Every time I turn down the noise by calming my nervous system, I'm lowering the need to go to food." - Program Participant

- Understand the deeper patterns driving food behaviors
- Recognize how your nervous system influences cravings
- Learn why traditional diets trigger the very behaviors they try to stop
- Discover how earned secure attachment creates lasting freedom with food

🧠The Revolutionary Perspective on Food Dysfunction
This program illuminates what conventional approaches miss:
- The Tiger in the Room: Your brain responds to emotional triggers the same way it responds to physical threats
- Reframing Cravings: Food cravings aren't failures—they're spotlights illuminating what needs your attention
- The 90-Second Rule: Emotions typically last about 90 seconds if not fueled by thoughts
- The Coping Tool Gap: Taking away comfort foods without new regulation tools leaves your body in distress
- Food as a Signal: When you have a desire to eat, you're probably suppressing thoughts that need attention

Let's heal together!
Surface-level fixes don't last. Going on a new diet, adopting some self-care practices, or reading some inspirational quotes can motivate temporary behavior change. But real integration and habit-change happens through the in-depth identity work of full recovery.Â
"The course was fabulous and I got so much out of it. The guidance and wisdom that Patricia and  Sonja provided throughout the course really helped me continue to show up and go deeper into my healing journey." ~ Kelley
Â
"Such an amazing offering! I’m so grateful to have been a part of it! You both bring so much and complement one another beautifully. Thank you for all that you shared!" ~ Toni
"I have only been able to listen to the recordings but I can tell you that I found each recording well worth the time and money. I feel like this course shortened my own journey but traveling with those who have gone ahead of me. Thank you!" ~ Evelyn
Â
"You two are amazing. I fell off near the end but have watched playbacks. Love the course and looking forward to what is next." ~ Duffin
"I’ve felt for a while that I have to go deeper and get curious if I am ever to linger in the pause rather than reflexively reach for NMF/NMD. The program you put together, Sonja and Patricia, and your reassuring, knowledgeable presence are serving as a much less fearful start to the journey." ~ Barbara
Â
"Thank you, Patricia and Sonja, for putting this amazing program together.. it has transformed me and I continue to deepen ..fabuloso!!!" ~ J

Patricia comes from a long history of 12-step and is a certified Empowerment Coach.
Sonja comes from a long history of health-related healing through science.
The two came together years ago and have been perfecting their own spiritual and healing paths combining their journeys into the two tracks of healing.
You had the courage to try some "drastic" measures to heal your own food issues, and now want to maintain, sustain and release old patterns and cravings.Â
Join us for a glimpse into the world of the art of recovery.
